Four disconnected systems, one production ERP.

Zarpanra was running its business on QuickBooks for accounting, spreadsheets for inventory, a paper register for production, and a POS system for sales — with a full-time person whose job was to reconcile them. We replaced all four with a single ERP that speaks to itself.

The problem

The month-end that took 12 days.

By the time Zarpanra's finance team reconciled QuickBooks with the inventory sheet, the production register, and the POS export, the month was already halfway through the next one. Every discrepancy was a manual detective job.

Adding a product SKU meant updating it in four places. Missing a step in any of them meant your stock counts and your books disagreed by the end of the quarter.

What they needed

One system, four modules that speak to each other.

  • Multi-warehouse inventory with real-time stock levels.
  • Journal-level accounting driven by inventory + sales events.
  • Production tracking (batches, materials-in, output).
  • Basic HR (employees, attendance, payroll runs).
  • PDF/print-ready reports for tax filing and audit.
  • Multi-currency, PKR-first, with GST + WHT logic built in.
What we shipped

Four modules, wired to a single ledger.

Inventory module

Multi-warehouse stock, transfers, adjustments, opening balances. Barcode-friendly product master with variants and units-of-measure.

Accounting module

Chart of accounts, journals, ledgers, trial balance, P&L, balance sheet. All auto-posted from sales / purchase / inventory events — no double-entry required.

Production module

Batches, bill-of-materials consumption, output yield tracking. Materials-in updates inventory, output posts to finished-goods stock.

HR module

Employees, monthly attendance, payroll processing, payslip PDFs. Salary journal posts to accounting automatically.

Tax logic

Configurable GST + WHT per document type, per counterparty. Handles the Pakistan-specific quirks (input tax credit, WHT on services, seller vs. buyer split).

Reports

Every report has HTML view + print-ready PDF + CSV export. Filed reports include date/time watermark for audit reference.

Outcomes

What changed after go-live.

4→1systems consolidated
12→3days for month-end close
0manual reconciliations remaining
1×SKU entry (was 4×)

Month-end close dropped from 12 days to 3. Inventory, accounting, and HR now speak to each other. Whoever thought that was a small change hasn't run a factory.
