Privacy policy.

What we collect when you visit thinkstacks.io or contact us, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

ThinkStacks is a software studio based in Lahore, with team members in Karachi and London. In this policy “ThinkStacks”, “we” and “us” mean the ThinkStacks team that runs thinkstacks.io. For any privacy question, email [email protected].

This policy covers this website. BizOS, our business software product, has its own privacy policy. Work we do for clients is covered by the written agreement for that project.

What we collect

When you use the contact form

When you contact us directly

If you email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive whatever you send and your contact details on that service.

When you browse the site

Like any website, our servers and our security and delivery provider (Cloudflare) process technical data such as your IP address, browser and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

How we use it

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not add you to marketing lists without your permission.

Where UK or EU data protection law applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and running a secure website, and on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who we share it with

These providers may process data outside your country, including in Pakistan, the UK, the EU and the US.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to respond and follow up, and for longer if you become a client, as part of our project records. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can also complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

The public pages of this site do not set cookies. Our own staff area sets a login cookie for team members only. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to tell people and bots apart.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
